THUNDER 27, FLYING EAGLES 21

In the final game of the day, the Thunder took on the San Francisco Flying Eagles with a second-place finish up for grabs. Bolstered by the return of Koby Silva, the Thunder played with much more energy and spirit and jumped out to a 15-8 halftime advantage. The second half was more competitive, but the Thunder continued to play with intensity on the defensive end and cruised to a 27-21 win. Richard Pabalate again led the Thunder with 8 points, while Silva scored a much-needed 7 points in his return to lineup. Kristian Jordan added 6 points in the winning effort. As has been the case with every game together, the team continues to show improvement and a balanced attack with contributions from every player on the roster. The victory raised the Thunder's record to 5-3 on the season and allowed the team to grab their third consecutive second place tournament finish.
